One Year Review: San Diego

Here I am at the public library because I needed the internet. Like my personal crack. Gotta watch those "late night couple of beers nostalgic" postings though. Holy typos. At least the library doesn't have beer. Holy smokes! I have been looking back on my wild year here in the wonderful city I call home and I love it. I am moving again, as my roomate takes off for her own crazy adventures being a hippie in Maui. As others around me delve deeper into excitement, I have slowly been drawn to a more disciplined and quiet life. I mean Jesus F-ing Christ, I think the last year has been the best yet. But life is good going to bed before 5am and waking up (sometimes) even before 10 a.m. I am focussed on my career and health more than ever, ( I even eat breakfast and drink water regularly)and even considering finishing up that pesky degree next year. Going to live with another cousin....ironic as the ticker clicks over to exactly a year gone by and I am back living with a cousin. But she loves yoga and art and animals and only lives 15 minutes away from my work...farther away from the beach, but...;) I think it will be fun. I am so grateful to have extended family out here.
I have navigated the surging tides of romance and men and let the man-harem dwindle into near extinction. Still had a wonderful summer, but I really have more fun with my friends and alone. Pluse none of the people I really pursued felt the same way about me, and vice versa. Irony. I am super excited to announce the arrival of our friend Kate!!! She has joined the friend-ranks of San Diego from San Fran and I have had fun seeing her and getting to welcome her a little bit.
Well, I have to go, but hope you are well and write me back soon guys. XO

Stef,

I'm glad I was a part of some of the late night shenanigans in the past year of San Diego for you. Although very few and far in between, I still think of the night we first met and took over the construction site on the cliff and then proceeded to enter the beach house for more beers. People still don't believe me when I tell it.

I miss hearing from you, touch base with me sometime to catch up.

I no longer work at Z57 so you can email me at tereschuck@gmail.com
